The IKS Qu'vat was originally commanded by Governor Torak. In 2369, it rendezvoused with the USS Enterprise-D to clear the name of the Klingon Empire, which was under suspicion of attacking a Federation installation, Relay Station 47, and being involved in the death of one of their officers.
It was later under the command of s'qIp.
