History
K'Tar, oldest of three children was born on Qo'noS in 2348. As with typical Klingon children, K'Tar was taught by his father in the ways of the warrior and the teachings of Kahless. K'Tar easily passed the First Right of Ascension, which proclaimed his intention to becoming a Klingon Warrior. Soon, K'Tar passed the Second Right of Ascension and entered the Klingon WeHwI' War Academy in 2365, wanting to become one of the empire's elite warriors. There, K'Tar's fighting prowess was put to the test. The elder instructors saw K'Tar's ferocity in combat and were impressed. K'Tar also learned ground combat tactics used by the Empire as well as those of the Federation, Romulans, Breen, Andorians, and Cardassians. K'Tar graduated from the Academy in 2369 with the rank of lagh (ensign). K'Tar was posted aboard the IKS Kahless as the WeHwI' XO. K'Tar served aboard the Kahless during the beginning of the Dominion War and fought bravely during several enemy ship boardings, sometimes overcoming greater enemy numbers. In 2373, K'Tar faught at the battle of Taurus 3 to capture the Dominion Shipyards there. Although taking heavy casualties and being wounded himself, K'Tar remained in the battle, and helped to capture the shipyards. In te second Invasion of the Chin' toka System, K'Tar was promoted to WehwI' CO and promoted to sogh. He led his team in close combat with Jem 'H'dar troops and won, though the casualties in his unit were high and again K'Tar had been wounded, but survived. In late 2375, K'Tar was once again in charge of a WeHwI' unit during the final assault on Cardassia Prime. K'Tar's unit was nearly wiped out except for him and two other WehwI. Though badly wounded, all three lived through the battle, having inflicted greater number of casualties. In 2376, K'Tar was reassigned to the IKS N'jah as WeHwI' CO. There, he served honorably, fighting in minor skirmishes unti 2380, when he was reassigned to the IKS meH'Haj as WehwI' CO. A few months later, K'Tar won the 3rd Fleet Bat'leth Tournament as Grand Champion.
However, K'Tar was not happy with how he had won and took an Extended Leave of Absence and visited the Klingon Monistary on Boreth. Over a year later, K'Tar decided it was time to return to duty and was once again assigned to his old ship, the IKS meH'Haj as a renewed and stronger warrior than before.

Personality
K'Tar is serious and brutalty straightforward. He has been known to kill Klingons under his command who has questioned his orders. In his off time, he enjoys honing his Bat'telh skills as well as his skills with the d'k tahg and his Mok'barra skills. Although, when the time permits, he will drink with his comrades and celebrate a victory.
